Maude Heppe February 8, 1997 Maude Heppe, 87, of East Market Street,
Sheppton, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 died Saturday at the Pottsville General HospitalBorn February 8, 1910, in
Ashley, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lydia Fillman O'Connell. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She graduated from Ashley schools and attended Bloomsburg Normal School.
She graduated from Columbia University. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was an English teacher at the former Ashley High School for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She lived in Sheppton for the past 43 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Sheppton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Heppe in 1994. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Ruth Erie, Allentown. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The
Rev. William Snyder, pastor of St. James United Church of Christ, Sheppton,
will officiate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral arrangements are by the Graham-McCune Funeral Home, Mountaintop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
