Rudolph Baloga February 9, 1997 Rudolph J. ``Rudy'' Baloga, 78, of
Tunkhannock &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Highway, Dallas, died Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in
Republic, he was the son of the late John and Anna Timko Baloga. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He attended Sacred Heart schools, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served in the U.S. Army in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World
War II. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a coal miner at the Dorrance
Colliery. Later, he worked as a crane operator at Foster Wheeler, Mountaintop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He lived in Dallas for the past 49 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, and American Legion Post
644, Swoyersville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her wife, the former Emily Hvozdovic; !!cqd!! daughters, Mary
Ann Gulias, Philippean Islands; Christine Blight, Vestal, N.Y.; sisters,
Pauline Polachek, Dallas; Sophie Check, Wilkes-Barre; three grandsons; and
four great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Richard H. Disque
Funeral Home, 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
