Anthony Bantell &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 December 15, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Anthony A. Bantell, of North Main Street, Pittston, died Monday in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-Barre General HospitalBorn in Southboro, Mass., he was the son of
the late Frank and Libera Belfiore Bantell. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a lifelong resident of Pittston and attended Pittston city schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring 10 years ago, he was associated with his three brothers in
the Bantell Paint Store for 46 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Mary's Help of Christian Church, Pittston; and the
Pittston Rotary Club. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline Scazafabo, in 1987; sister,
Theresa Troiano. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his daughters Lee Bantell, Pittston, with whom he resided;
Mrs. Sal (Rosanne) Milazzo, Carlsbad, Calif.; son, Anthony J. Bantell,
Hughestown; four grandchildren; brothers John Bantell, Pittston; Dominick
Bantell, Laflin; Leo Bantell, Baltimore, Md.; Michael Bantell, Pittston;
sisters Elizabeth Seligman, New York City, N.Y.; Mrs. Sam (Mary) Williams,
Exeter; Mrs. Edward (Rose) Kivak, Seneca Falls, N.Y.; several nieces and
nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Adonizio Funeral Home
Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
at St. Mary's Help of Christian Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the West Pittston Cemetery, West Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wake services will be held on Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
