Adelaide McGarry &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 December 21, 1997 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Adelaide (Addie) H. McGarry, 100, formerly of Wyoming Avenue, West
Pittston, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 died Sunday at the home of her daughter in Carneys Point, N.JBorn in
Milwaukee, Nov. 16, 1897, she was the daughter of the late Arch and Margaret
Stull Reed. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was educated in Exeter schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, West
Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. McGarry, in 1973;
brothers George, John and Oscar; sisters Bertha Davis and Mabel Dougherty. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her son, Joseph R. McGarry, Tower City; daughters Betty
O'Boyle, Sonoma, Calif.; Jean Dyson, with whom she resided, Carneys Point,
N.J.; Claire Kohler, Carneys Point, N.J.; seven grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Howell-Lussi Funeral
Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, with the Rev. Wayne Shontz officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Harding. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the First Congregational United Church of
Christ, c/o Thelma Harmon, 338 Parke St., West Pittston, PA 18643. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
