Music Box Players to greet season with `Hello Dolly!' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Music Box Players have announced their 1998 season of plays and
musicals and will open on Feb. 13 with ``Hello Dolly!'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The musical will be staged Feb. 13 to 15, 19 to 22, 26 to 28, and March 1,
5 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 to 7As part of the return of spring, "Little Mary Sunshine," a comedy by
Rick Resoyan that spoofs the Jeanette McDonald/Nelson Eddy movie musicals,
will be staged May 1 to 3, 7 to 10, and 14 to 17. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Music Box's one nonmusical of the season is the frantic, fast-paced
comic farce by Ken Ludwig, "Moon Over Buffalo," which heralded Carol Burnett's
triumphant return to Broadway. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Although Burnett won't be appearing in the Music Box's version, assuredly
one of the region's most expert comic actresses gladly will re-create the
show's comic antics for her on June 12 to 14, 18 to 21, and 25 to 27. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "Nunsense," the habit-forming comedy about the singing, dancing Little
Sisters of Hoboken, will have a special five-week run and is planned for July
24 to 26, 30, 31 Aug. 1, 2, 6 to 8, 13 to 16 and 20 to 23. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Players suggest audiences make plans early because of the popularity of
this comedy. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Kander &amp; Ebb musical "Cabaret"- the haunting story of Sally Bowles,
Cliff, Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schmidt as they struggle to survive in
pre-Hitler Berlin- will unfold Sept. 18 to 20, 24 to 27, Oct. 1 to 4, and 8 to
10. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 For the holiday season, the Players will reprise an audience favorite: a
musical version of the Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol." With new music by
Ted Anderson, and a new book and lyrics by Kevin Costley, the musical will be
staged Nov. 27 to 29, Dec. 3 to 6, 10 to 13, and 17 to 19. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In 1998, the Music Box will offer two productions for children. One is a
musical version of "The Wizard of Oz" on March 20 to 22, 27 to 29, and April 3
and 4. School day performances will be March 25 and April 1, at 10 a.m. and
12:30 p.m. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 On Oct. 23 to 25, 30 and 31, kids can howl at the moon along with Hansel
and Gretel as they experience "Hansel and Gretel's Fright Night," a new and
original musical Halloween treat. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite
costumes, and prizes will be awarded to the best and most original at each
performance. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 As usual, McDonald's restaurants will co-sponsor these children's shows,
and the price of admission will include a McDonald's Happy Meal. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
