WVW chorus: Stellar students provide a stellar performance &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 On behalf of the Arthritis Foundation and its board, I would like to take
this opportunity to thank the Wyoming Valley West School District and the
administration of the Middle School for sharing the talents of their students
with us at our Christmas dinnerThe 40 members of the chorus who performed
exhibited all the qualities of model school citizens. Their demeanor, poise
and talent is a credit to the school and in particular, the music department.
Mr. Scott Coates, who is responsible for molding this fine array of young
talent, is truly a dedicated teacher and a role model we all can be proud of.
We should consider ourselves fortunate that our children are entrusted to him.
It is evident that much time and effort has been put into the program such as
the one at the Middle School. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; With cuts in programs in many schools, we want it known that music is a
program that should never be cut. All you have to do is hear these fine young
people perform with passion and joy to know that this is true. Our hats are
off to all who are involved in the effort to keep programs such as this
intact. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 We are certain that we will not see the names of these fine students among
those who are involved in the many unsavory activities of our time. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
