 January 5, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Janet M. Kubicki, 54, of North Street, Hudson section of Plains Township,
died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Monday at Penn State Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains
Township, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 after an illnessBorn in Hudson, she was daughter of the late Frank M. and
Evelyn Benno Kubicki. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Plains Township schools and was a 1961 honors graduate of
Plains Memorial High School. She continued her education at Penn State
University with computer science courses. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed for thirty years in technical support at the Wilkes-Barre
Data Operations Center, a division of the Social Security Administration on
East Mountain Drive, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a sister, Irene Kubicki, with whom she resided; a brother,
Robert F. Kubicki, West Grove; and several nieces. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Mark V. Yanaitis
Funeral Home, 55 Stark St., Plains Township, with a Funeral Liturgy at 9:30
