Laura Gardner &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 3, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Laura C. Gardner, 90, of Johnson City, N.Y., formerly of Plymouth, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Saturday at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home, Johnson CityBorn Sept. 19,
1907, in Plymouth, she was daughter of the late Thomas A. and Sarah Davis
Clemow. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a graduate of Plymouth schools, Elmira College and the New School
of Social Work in Plymouth. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church, Vestal, N.Y., and was a
former member of Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, Plainfield, N.J. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Gardner; brothers Albert
T. Clemow and Milton S. Clemow; and a sister, Lillie Clemow. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are nephews, the Rev. Thomas A. Clemow II, Sidney, N.Y.; the Rev.
Dr. Craig G. Clemow, Williamstown, Mass.; six great-nieces and great-nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Vestal United
Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal, N.Y., with the Rev. Dr. John
Topolewski, pastor, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Pittston Cemetery at the convenience of the family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at the church on
Saturday. &amp;nbs
