 Benjamin Gadomski has reopened M. Mayo Striping and Lettering, the Exeter
firm founded in 1960 by his father and grandfatherThe company paints the
stripes and lettering on parking lots. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Forrest "Bull" Mayo, Gadomski's grandfather, and Anthony "Tony" Gadomski,
his father, named the business for his grandmother, Margaret Mayo. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 His father built the company's first striping machine, handling production
of the jobs secured by his grandfather. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mayo died in 1972 and Tony Gadomski continued the business until he was
forced to retire due to ill health. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Gadomski, who learned the business as a child, will expand the company this
year, adding a sealcoating division. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The company is located on Slocum Avenue by the Four Seasons Golf Club. For

 Cottage Candle Company has opened an Edwardsville retail outlet, selling a
variety of scented candles. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
