SAYSO &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A short time ago one of my neighbors called the Kingston police over
concern about the two dogs on (name of avenue deleted). They were barking
excessively, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; and the St. Bernard just about got over the gate to attack a young child.
The police refused to do nothing, suggesting we should deal it with ourselves.
So is this the way we should handle this situation, by taking matters into our
own hands? Attention all shoppers. Please watch all the deli workers handling
your food. The plastic gloves are supposed to protect us. Just watch how many
things they touch with the plastic gloves, before they touch our food. Please
deli workers, be more careful. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I would like to know if something can be done about the traffic lights on
East Northampton Street? When we get out of work we're waiting, sitting there
about a half hour, it seems like, until the light changes, and there's so much
traffic there, it's a shame. I think the light should be put back to the way
they were. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm calling about the person that called SAYSO and it was published on
Saturday, Jan. 3, complaining that there was too much SAYSO in The Times
Leader. If that person doesn't like it, no one is making them read it. I like
SAYSO, I think you should keep on doing it. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I notice that we're always trying to promote this area, trying to bring
industry in, jobs, better lives for everyone, but I think most people miss the
mark. We're not by the ocean, we're not in some fancy location where it's hot
all the time. The one thing we have here that we can advertise and go ahead
with, is we do it cheaper and better than anywhere else. How would we
accomplish this? We'd have to get our school teachers to work for a little
less, our firemen to work for a little less, our police officers to work for a
little less, our politicians to be a little bit more honest. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Recently I was talking to a member of the clergy who told me that he was
encouraged after talking to some of his parishioners, and found that few, if
any, wanted more than what would be their fair share. Later on he said he had
changed his mind, having reconsidered what they considered a fair share. He
discovered a great exaggeration in what they're entitled to. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I'm a resident of the Wilkes-Barre area all of my life, so therefore I know
the kind of people that live here. I'm just an ordinary guy that enjoys his
morning routine, you know, like drinking coffee and hearing what's playing on
the radio. But these Rock 107 morning guys, Daniels and Webster, whoever they
are, have to stop criticizing the people from this valley. They're making all
kinds of smirky wisecracks. Do they have the right to criticize? Do they
forget who listens to their show? I'd like to refresh their memories. We do. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
