 January 10, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Verna J. Davis, 78, of Pellam Trailer Court, Kunkle, Dallas Township, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Saturday at the Meadows Nursing Center, DallasBorn in Wilkes-Barre, she was
the daughter of the late William and Margaret Mehm Morgan. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She graduated from Kingston Township High School and the Wyoming Seminary
School of Business. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She lived on Shaver Avenue, Shavertown, for many years before moving to
Kunkle. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Huntsville Christian Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 396,
Dallas, and a Girl Scout leader in Shavertown for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her husband, William E.; daughters Mrs. Max (Marjorie)
Goldsworthy, Gunbower, Australia; Mrs. John (Susan) O'Malia, Shavertown;
sisters Mrs. William (Margaret) Coates, Naples, Fla.; Mrs. Edward (Ruth)
Corcoran, Shavertown; three grandsons. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Richard H. Disque
Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Rev. David R.
Mansfield officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in
