I Was Supposed To Be On Jury Duty This Week. I Was Excited About It, Doing My Civic Duty, Participating In The System Of American Government As Our Forefathers Intended. Not To Mention The Added Bonus Of Having The Power To Determine If Someone Is Innocent Or Guilty. Having Someone's Life, Someone's Future Put In My Hands, So To Speak. I Had The Power To Send Someone To Jail! Now That Is Exciting. Then I Got The Postcard Saying I Was Excused And Did Not Have To Report. I Do Not Know Why I Was Excused, I Did Not Ask To Be. Perhaps
