 January 16, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sylvester Blazick, 69, of Penn Street, Kingston, died Friday in the Hospice &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 St. John Unit of Penn State Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 TownshipBorn in Plymouth, he was son of the late Frank and Rose Augustine
Blazick. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He formerly was employed as a merchant seaman for the Kinsman Lines and
American Steamship Co., Buffalo, N.Y. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his sons, Sylvester John and Kenneth. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his daughter, Doris Ann Conant, Exeter; one granddaughter;
brothers Henry, Wilkes-Barre; Frank, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Leonard and Joseph,
both of Kingston; Chester, Hanover Township; Ted, Plymouth; sister Dorothy
Brussock, Edwardsville; and several nieces and nephews.
