Altar and Rosary Society installs officers &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Altar and Rosary Society of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, recently
elected officers for 1998. The installation ceremony preceded the January

 The Junior Confirmation Class of St. Casimir's Church recently collected
canned foods for the Feed a Friend Project. The class is instructed by Peggy
Mullin and Lou Mucciolo. The class is comprised of fifth and sixth grade
students from school districts which include Hanover, Wilkes-Barre, Northwest
and Wyoming Valley West. Coordinator of the program is Mary Ann Peeler and

 St. Nicholas plans 33rd annual German Nite for Feb. 21 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre, will hold its 33rd Annual German Nite on
Feb. 21. A German-style buffet meal will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and
beverages will be served throughout the evening. Music will be provided by the
Henry Charles Orchestra from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $14 per person
and may be obtained from any Holy Name member, event committee member or by
calling the rectory at 823-7736. Limited tickets will be sold. Shown,
