Catherine Chromey &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 January 21, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Catherine H. Chromey, 92, of Sandusky, Ohio, a former resident of Marcy &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Avenue, Duryea, died Wednesday in Providence Care Center, Sandusky,
following a lengthy illnessBorn in Duryea on Aug. 28, 1905, she was daughter
of the late Anthony and Eva Drugallas Zongila. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Duryea schools and moved to Huron, Ohio, in 1995. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed in the area silk mills and a variety of other specialty
stores, including furniture and florist shops. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea, and its Altar &amp;
Rosary Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on Jan. 2, 1971; brothers
Alfred, Peter, Anthony, John and William Zongila; and sisters Mary Chaplain
and Helen Pietruszewski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons Gerald, Huron; Leonard, Centerville, Va.; five
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Bernard J. Piontek
Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30
