Christians have a solemn duty to provide recreation for area's youth &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Recently I have become more frustrated and angry about the lack of good
wholesome entertainment for our teenagers- entertainment that would not
introduce them to nicotine, drugs, alcohol or anything else that will bring
them harm or disasterWhen I was growing up in this valley, there were a few
things to look forward to, such as Teen Canteen at the YMCA/YWCA every
Saturday night- swimming, basketball, volleyball, some dancing, refreshments-
firmly but pleasantly supervised, youth group Sunday evenings, and Youth for
Christ in the country and Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In some conversations I've had, some people ask, "Where can my son go for
some good wholesome fun?" Each place I mention I gets the same response: "I
wouldn't let my son or daughter go there." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Where then can he go? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 We need to wake up before it's too late. Many of our teenagers are going to
hell in a handbasket, and we are doing nothing. We sit in our prayer meetings
begging God to do something. It's time for us to act while Jesus leads. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It's been decided to bring an arena into the area. Who will that benefit
most? Adults. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 What about our teenagers? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Let's wake up and decide which is more important our own entertainment or
wholesome entertainment for our teens. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I have recently heard Christian young people say they don't get anything
out of just sitting and listening to someone talk. They are bored, bored,
bored. There has to be something more for them. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Can we put our doctrinal differences aside and become united with Jesus and
begin seriously considering what can be done for our teenagers before anymore
time passes? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 What about a huge building where there are many different activities such
as teen canteen with a few more things added- a pool, ping pong, darts, a big
screen TV with decent videos to watch? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 What will we say if asked on Judgment Day,
