 January 25, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Stasia Maria Yarasheski, formerly of Newport Street and the Ken Pollock &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Apartments, Depot Street, both in Glen Lyon, died Sunday at the Mercy &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Glen Lyon, Newport Township on Dec. 18, 1915,
she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Kazmierchik Zavistowski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a lifelong resident of Glen Lyon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Glen Lyon schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Before retiring in 1969, she was employed by Engels MSGR Co. and Leslie Fay
Dress Co. as a sewing machine operator. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Adalbert's Church; American Legion Auxiliary Post
539; and VFW Auxiliary Post 8353, all in Glen Lyon. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R., in 1970; sister, Irene
Kazmierski; brothers Chester and Eugene Zavistowski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her son, Edward E., Bridge Water Township, N.J.; five
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the George A. Strish
Funeral Home, 211 West Main St., Glen Lyon, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m.
