 Blessing of Throats, in observance of the Feast of St. Blase will be held
after all weekend Masses and after Mass on Feb. 3Night at the Races, 7 p.m.,
Feb. 21 in the church hall. Admission is $3 and each horse costs $10. Deadline
to buy horses is Feb. 15. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lottery tickets for March are now available. Tickets can be picked up in
the sacristy. Those who wish to purchase tickets can call the rectory at
825-6669. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Pastoral Outreach, a ministry to the sick, elderly, homebound and disabled
is offering a six-week training session from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 19 and 26
and March 5, 12, 19 and 26. Classes will be held in the CPR Room of the

Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. Feb. 7. The event is a gathering of borough
officials, community leaders, church leaders and people from the surrounding

 The service will include opening prayers, meditation, recitation of the
Most Holy Rosary and will conclude with Benediction of the Most Blessed
Sacrament. The intention for February is that parents recognize the importance
of the traditional family values inculcated in a Catholic parochial school
education. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Following Benediction, the regular First Friday Mass will be celebrated at
7 p.m. All parishioners, friends and neighbors are invited to participate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
