 February 5, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; George H. West, 94, a guest at the Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Thursday at Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit at the Mercy Hospital, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes-BarreBorn March 24, 1903, in Fairview Township, he was the son of
the late Rembrandt Painter and Jennie Fillman West. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a warehouse worker in the
hotel and lodging business in New Jersey for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a former resident of the Valley View Terrace Apartments,
Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mayme Amelia, Mildred
Pearl, Pauline V. and Celesta Mae, brothers, Rembrandt Peal and William Halsey
West. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Naomi
