Several people injured on slushy area roads &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Sleet and slushy roads were responsible for several crashes along
Interstate &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 81 on Wednesday night, police saidStanley Drevenak, 22, of Wilkes-Barre,
and Melissa Mullin, 18, of Sugar Notch, were injured when Drevenak lost
control of his car as he was exiting I-81 north onto Route 115 south at 10:10
p.m., police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 His car hit a guardrail, spun clockwise, then rolled down an embankment,
where it crashed on the passenger side, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Drevenak and Mullin were taken to Nesbitt Memorial Hospital in Kingston.
Drevenak was treated for a back injury and Mullin was treated for head, neck
and shoulder injuries. They were released. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Both wore seat belts, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 More than an hour earlier, Cory Klaips, 26, of Hunlock Township, was
driving south in the left lane of I-81 in Hanover Township when he lost
control of his pickup truck, spun counterclockwise and struck a barrier,
police said. Klaips and his passenger, Lisa Mardyniak, 27, of Harleigh,
escaped injury. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 John G. Obarra of Hazleton received minor injuries when he lost control of
his van at 8:15 p.m. on I-81 in Hanover Township, police said. His van climbed
an embankment and flipped on its side, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It took crews 15 minutes to extract Obarra from the van. He was taken to
Mercy
