Madeline Martin &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 February 5, 1998 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Madeline R. Martin, 88, of Casey Avenue, Wilkes-Barre Township, died
Thursday at the Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn April 21, 1909, in
Wilkes-Barre Township, she was daughter of the late Patrick and Anna Kilduff
Flynn. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Wilkes-Barre Township High School and was formerly employed in
the local garment industry. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Joseph's Friary, Wilkes-Barre Township, and its
Altar &amp; Rosary Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was also a member of the Wilkes-Barre Township Democratic Womens Club
and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, James Martin, in 1976; a son,
James Martin, in 1975; a daughter, Patricia Zachmann, in 1975; brothers
Edward, James, John, Francis, Leo, Robert and Joseph Flynn; and sisters Marie
Pickett, Catherine Reilly and Anna Moses. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Jude Martin, Wilkes-Barre Township; four
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Flynn, Wilmington,
Del.; Dorothy Belardinelli, Wilkes-Barre; Patricia Hogan, Wilkes-Barre; and
numerous nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Nat &amp; Gawlas
Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass
at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Friary. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Ce
