Performance to highlight black culture &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In celebration of Black History Month, Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus will
present The NOMMO Performing Arts Company at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Hayfield House in Lehman TownshipThe program is free and open to the
public. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The NOMMO Players, made up of more than 30 students at Penn State's
University Park campus, focus on integrating three art forms- dance, theater
and music- into a unified experience that reflects the culture and traditions
of Africans and African-Americans. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The material that is performed by the company, both traditional and
original, is selected with the intent of educating and informing. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In their concerts, the actors, dancers, singers and musicians provide their
audiences with images from traditional African and contemporary
African-American life. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Taken from Kiswahili, the word nommo is difficult to translate
