Saturday is Valentine's Day. Take a moment to remember your special &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 A reminder that the Larksville Borough Council announces that a work
session will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at the borough building. The meeting
is open to the public. The regular council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m.

 Received a note that the Knights of Columbus Council 984 of Plymouth will
sponsor its annual vocations fish dinner to be held on Feb. 27. Tom
Roccograndi and Kevin Fuller, co-chairmen of the event, announce the dinner
will be held at the Holy Child School cafeteria, Willow Street, Plymouth, from
4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The price has been set at $6 for adults, $4 for children.
Takeouts will be available. All proceeds will benefit the religious vocations
fund. This fund is designed to support worthy seminarians studying for the
priesthood and postulants to the religious life. Advance tickets may be
obtained at St. Mary's Nativity Church, Willow Street, Plymouth, or by calling
Grand Knight Joe McGill at 779-9859 or Deputy Grand Knight Mark Mizzer at

 The Plymouth Rotary would like to congratulate David McEvoy of Wilkes-Barre

 Residents of Larksville are reminded that as of last month, the cost of

 Kudos to Jill Kazinski of Larksville, for receiving the Lester A. Risser
scholarship at Elizabethtown College. Jill is a senior, majoring in elementary
and early childhood education with a minor in religious studies. She is a 1994

 In this week's mail was a note from Ann Kosicki of Plymouth stating that
Monsignor Grimalia, pastor, and the Rev. Perrins, assistant pastor of St.
Mary's Nativity Church, join with the "Fall Festival Roast Beef Dinner"
committee to express their gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the excellent
response to the event. The generosity of those in the church and community who
donated gifts, certificates, food items and their services to make the
festival a success was very much appreciated. Plans are underway to for the
next Fall Festival Dinner to be held in October of this year. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The Plymouth Historical Society board of directors will meet at 7 p.m.
Tuesday at society headquarters on Gaylord Avenue, Plymouth. The society is
open for visitors from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Anyone wishing
to tour the facility or conduct genealogical research is welcome. For further

for the annual "Spelling Bee" which will be held on May 2 at the society

fire department will be standing by just in case the flames on the birthday

that Carol Ann Piledggi and yours truly tied the knot in St. Hedwig's Church
in Edwardsville. I don't know how she's put up with me for all those years.

 On Thursday, Plymouth Rotary will host its annual "Valentine Soiree" and
"Couples Night" at 6:30 p.m. at Franchella's Restaurant, Plymouth. Stan Motyka
and Ron Miller, chairpersons, have announced that a Chinese auction will take
place immediately following dinner. Rotarians and guests are requested to
bring at least one gift valued up to $10 and one gag gift. Gifts are to be
wrapped and unmarked. A king and queen will be selected from the Rotarians and

March 1. Alvina Mack, trip chairperson, announced that the monthly excursion
to Atlantic City will take place on Feb. 17. Departure will be at 10 a.m.,

tomorrow's meeting are: Frances Przybilski, Eleanor Zalonis, Laura Arndt,

tour of the Ethan Allen home, "Sound of Music" entertainment, meals and much

 June 16: Woodlock Resort in Hawley, Pa., for lunch, a smorgasbord dinner,
champagne party, two shows, a boat ride on Lake Teedyuscung and a tour of the
