Church welcomes new members

PITTSTON &#8212; Pittston Area and Wyoming Area students are eligible to play football and cheerlead for the Pittston Junior Patriots in the upcoming season. Participants must have celebrated their fifth birthday by March 1 and cannot turn 15 years old prior to Dec. 1.Early registration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 and Sunday, May 17 at the field house on Swallow Street. Registration fee is $60 for one child or $100 for a family. Cheerleading practice starts on July 6, while football practice starts on July 13. Practice will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.All football coaches have NFL Heads Up certification.
