NANTICOKE - Two Central Pennsylvania Business School basketball fans were
stabbed outside a basketball game against Luzerne County Community College on
Wednesday night, college officials said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nanticoke Police Chief Chester Zaremba said the stabbings occurred outside
the school's gym about 9:30 p.m., after the game ended. Tom McHugh, an LCCC
spokesman, said the victims were friends of Central Penn basketball players. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ``There was some taunting taking place during the game and at halftime
between fans from Central Penn and LCCC,'' McHugh said. ``The fans apparently
agreed to take it out in the parking lot after the game.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Zaremba said late Wednesday night that police had not determined who
stabbed the students. He could not provide additional information, including
the names and conditions of the victims, and said city detectives were
investigating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Zaremba said the patients, believed to be men, were taken to Mercy Hospital
in Wilkes-Barre together in one ambulance, so it doesn't appear they stabbed
each other. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Radio reports from Nanticoke emergency personnel indicated one man received
a 2- to 3-inch stab wound to his abdomen and a puncture wound to the face. The
medics said the bleeding was controlled and the wounds did not appear to be
life-threatening. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Scott Jones, LCCC's director of student activities and athletics, said he
was told the Central Penn fans were ``real vocal and taunting throughout the
whole game.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ``Obviously our main concern is the health of the fans,'' Jones said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Central Pennsylvania Business School is a two-year college in Summerdale in
Cumberland County, near Harrisburg. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 An LCCC security guard said the game wrapped up at about 9 p.m. and that
campus security generally doesn't provide security to basketball games. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
