Ann M. Arnone, of Pittston, died Friday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Theresa (Rubin)
Occhiato. She was a graduate of Pittston Township High School. She was a
member of St. Rocco's Church in Pittston, the parish Christian Mothers
Society, International Ladies Garment Workers Union Retirees, the Big Bana
Society, the Italian American Society, and the Wyoming Valley Health Care
Ladies Auxiliary. Before her retirement, she was employed in the garment
industry. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Sam; son, Sam E., Jr.,
Pittston; daughter, Ann Marie Arnone, Kingston; brother, Frank, Kingston;
sisters, Catherine Solano, Pittston; and Nettie Panunti, Pittston; and several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the
Adonizio Funeral Home, Inc., 251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of
Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church. Interment will be in St.
Rocco's Cemetery in Pittston Township. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
