HAZLETON &#8212; Mayor Joseph Yannuzzi announced a news conference for Friday to discuss details and plans for a &#8220;major event&#8221; for the city.The press conference will be held at Brenner Recycling, 282 South Wyoming Street, at 2 p.m. on Friday.According to the news release announcing the news conference, the city is sponsoring the &#8220;largest event of its kind&#8221; for the city and the Greater Hazleton Region.Yannuzzi declined to comment on what the event is.
