 Nov. 23, 2000 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; lbert ``Leggs'' Mecadon, 83, of Winifred Street, Pittston, died Thursday at
Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was born in Pittston Township. He worked in the area coal mines. He was
a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; brothers and sisters. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his sons, Fred, Exeter; Albert, Jr., Pittston; seven
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Adonizio Funeral Home Inc.,
251 William St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Our
Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery, West
Pittston. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
