Connor Hulslander got the final two outs to pick up the save for the Tigers (5-7).John Van Scoy finished 3-for-3 with a double to lead the Black Knights (1-11). Tyler Kolb went the distance and struck out eight.Trojans issued forfeitNanticoke has forfeited its 1-0 win over Meyers on Thursday for using an illegal pitcher.Joe Olszyk had pitched into a fourth inning of relief on Tuesday in a win over Wyoming Seminary. He then started and went the distance on Thursday against Meyers.PIAA pitch-limit rules state that a pitcher must have two calendar days of rest after throwing in four innings. Olszyk was not eligible to pitch on Wednesday or Thursday.The reversal will affect seedings for next week&#8217;s District 2 Class 2A tournament. The Trojans drop to 8-6 while the Mohawks are now 5-9.
