First Posted: 7/9/2014 WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; The Luzerne County Convention Center Authority voted for the resignation of member George Horwatt for unspecified &#8220;inappropriate conduct.&#8221;
Horwatt did not attend today&#8217;s regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
Eight of the 11 appointed board members supported the motion made near the end of the meeting at the Mohegan Sun Area at Casey Plaza.
Last month Horwatt said he filed a complaint with the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania against attorney Murray Ufberg, the authority&#8217;s solicitor. The complaint was summarily dismissed on June 11.
