Main Avenue paving in Scranton rescheduled due to St. Ann’s Novena

First Posted: 10/22/2014 Sue Hand, a nationally-recognized artist, recently donated a painting to Luzerne County Community College&#8217;s 25th annual Alumni Association fall craft festival raffle. The painting &#8216;The Farm in the Valley&#8217; from the Luzerne County collection, is a watercolor depiction of Hobbie and has a retail value of $595. Raffle entries are three for $5 and are available at the LCCC Alumni Office. The drawing for the painting will be held on Monday, Nov. 10. Proceeds will benefit LCCC student programs and the college&#8217;s community outreach fund. The painting is on display on the alumni website at www.luzerne.edu/alumni. Local artist donates painting to LCCC
