<p>Candy&#8217;s Place, a Cancer Wellness Center, will be hosting a weekend full of fun and fashionable fundraisers later this month.</p><p>On Saturday, July 25, the center will host the inaugural Harveys Lake BRWALK &#8212; short for Bike/Run/Walk, which will begin at 10 a.m., with registration at 9 a.m. at the Sandy Beach Pavilion.</p><p>Formally known as the Harveys Lake Walk-a-Thon, the event will give participants the opportunity to bike, run or walk the 9-mile distance around Harveys Lake. There will be a staggered start, with bikers starting first, followed by runners, then walkers.</p><p>Advance registration is $15 and walk-in registration is $20. A T-shirt is included in the entry fee. Only individuals who register in advance are guaranteed a T-shirt.</p><p>Register in advance online by visiting cancerwellnessnepa.org/harveys-lake-walk or by calling Candy&#8217;s Place at 570-714-8800.</p><p>Then on Sunday, July 25, Candy&#8217;s Place will host its Sixth Annual Fashion Show &amp; Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodlands Inn.</p><p>Participants will have the opportunity to support the patients of Candy&#8217;s Place as they model clothing from local retailers on a runway.</p><p>All who attend are encouraged to dress and accessorize in colors that correspond with a cancer that has touched their lives, said Melanie Socash, communications representative for the center.</p><p>This year&#8217;s Fashion Show will also include raffle baskets, a silent purse auction, more than a dozen vendors, and more.</p><p>Registration is $25.
