Kermit and Miss Piggy split, but team up on ABC comedy

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Treats for humans aren&#8217;t the only edible items found at the Wilkes-Barre Farmers Market. Four-legged companions can also get some homemade goodies from Jagger&#8217;s Doggy Deli.</p><p>Owner and baker Melody Fuller, lives in Nescopeck. She began her <a href="http://www.jaggersdoggydeli.com/" target="_blank">doggy deli </a>more than 10 years ago with a little help from Jagger, her first CEO &#8212; chief eating operator. Now, she relies on some assistance from her eight mastiffs. After gaining a hefty following of customers from vending at dog shows around the area, Fuller now travels to various markets selling her canine cookies. She&#8217;s been at the Wilkes-Barre market for about five years, she said.</p><p>&#8220;I love this market. This is one of my favorites,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I spent about 13 years vending at dog shows. I have a huge following of people that come all the time.&#8221;</p><p>Fuller&#8217;s stand at the market gets a steady flow of foot traffic. Customers, both two and four-legged, come to sample and purchase any of the 24 different varieties of treats. Those with fingers can take a plastic basket and fill it with an assortment of cookies including flavors such as pina colada, snickerpoodle, cheddar bacon, turkey sage and stinky ones.</p><p>&#8220;The stinky cookies are probably one of our most popular items,&#8221; Fuller said. &#8220;They&#8217;re made with salmon oil, tuna, peanut butter, garlic powder, asiago and Romano cheeses. They&#8217;re loaded with Omega 3 and six.&#8221;</p><p>While the stinky cookie may not sound appetizing to those who walk around on two legs, she assures dog owners their pets will love them.</p><p>The four-legged visitors often get a couple of samples to try on the spot.</p><p>&#8220;Every dog that comes by gets a free cookie,&#8221; Fuller said. &#8220;I just love talking to all the people and seeing all the dogs that come by.&#8221;</p><p>Another popular item are the peanut butter and bacon cookies.</p><p>&#8220;They fly off the shelves,&#8221; Fuller said.</p><p>If you can&#8217;t make it to one of the markets Fuller attends, her cookies are on sale at Hair of the Dog in Hazleton.</p><p>&#8220;We&#8217;re a boutique salon so we carry a lot of items you don&#8217;t normally find other places,&#8221; she said.</p><p>For a complete list of the cookie treats, visit Fuller&#8217;s website at <a href="http://www.jaggersdoggydeli.com">www.jaggersdoggydeli.com</a>.</p><style>
