MOUNTAIN TOP &#8212; Traffic delays continue on Interstate 81 in the Dorrance/Nuangola area. For two weeks the southbound lanes were affected and now the work has moved to the northbound lanes, said James May, PennDOT spokesman.May said crews have been replacing 28 concrete slabs in the roadway. He said traffic delays can take as long as 30 minutes to travel six miles.May said Route 309 is experiencing increased congestion as well because a lot of traffic is exiting Route 81 to avoid the long delays.

I-81 delays have moved to northbound lanes
