Regular inspection; in compliance. Violations: Raw shell eggs stored above precooked sausage patties and cole slaw in the cook line baine marie. The eggs were placed on the bottom shelf. Observed soup being cooled in refrigerator in containers with sealed with plastic wrap, which is not a proper cooling method. The plastic wrap was removed from the containers. Old food residue on the blade and housing of the meat slicer; oil leaking from the motor. The slicer was disassembled for cleaning and the manager stated that she will call the repair service for a replacement slicer. Ice build up on the shelves in the Frigidaire upright freezer in the kitchen.Summit Market &amp; Deli, 800 Morgan Highway, South Abington Township, Aug. 11. Regular inspection; in compliance. Violations: Prepackaged food (sandwiches and salads) are not labeled properly with the name of product, ingredient statement, net weight, distributed by statement. Violations: Chicken in the walk-in cooler and walk in freezer area stored open with no covering. Liquid food ingredient storage container in the prep area, is not labeled with the common name of the food. Large ice build up observed in the chest freezer. Dry ingredient bags observed stored directly on floor in dry storage area. Hood filters and frame have an accumulation of static dust and grease.Philly Pretzel Factory, 553 Scranton/Carbondale Highway, Scranton, Aug. 12. Regular inspection; in compliance. Violations: Food facility has an original certificate posted, but the location is not conspicuous for public viewing. Old food residue build-up on door handles in the walk-in coolers. The hand-wash sink in the prep area and ware wash area was blocked and not accessible at all times for employee use. Women&#8217;s toilet room is not provided with a covered waste receptacle for sanitary napkins.
