LEHMAN TWP. &#8212; The Lake-Lehman School Board made some administrative appointments and changes to the school calendar on Monday.The first major change the board addressed involved the 2015-2-16 school year calendar.The date for the senior prom, which was to be held May 13 at Genetti Best Western in Wilkes-Barre, was changed to May 20.May 13 has been changed to a full school day for students, and May 20 has been changed to an ACT 80 early dismissal day.The board also made two administrative appointments:&#8226; Brian Pipec to the position of director of Pupil Services and Logistics; and&#8226; Matthew Nonnenberg to the position of assistant Junior/Senior High School principal.Kindergarten registration day will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 24, and the first day of school district wide will be Aug. 31.In other business, board member Karen Masters addressed Lake-Lehman&#8217;s lack of student ID cards.&#8220;I feel as though our district should look into implementing student ID cards, at least on our senior high level,&#8221; said Masters. &#8220;Not simply for security purposes, but also due to the career-readiness curriculum we have in place.
