From grape arbor to fairy garden, Warrior Run woman’s backyard is full of delights

<p>The Trucksville Volunteer EMS and Fire &amp; Rescue Association were awarded a total of $404,715 in grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through the Federal Emergency Management Agency.</p><p>U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Scranton, announced the award Friday and said it will be used for operations and safety and vehicle acquisition. There were two separate grants of $122,000 and $282,715.</p><p>&#8220;Pennsylvania&#8217;s firefighters endure risk and sacrifice every day to keep their community safe,&#8221; said Casey. &#8220;This money will help provide Luzerne County&#8217;s firefighters with the resources they need to ensure their safety and the safety of those they serve.&#8221;</p><p>The funds are awarded through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program that aims to strengthen the health and safety of the nation&#8217;s first responders and those they serve.</p><style>
