WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Hazleton man may spend more than eight years in state prison for violent and threatening behavior toward his ex-girlfriend, her family and police.Ryan Jones, 27, was sentenced Thursday in Luzerne County Court to 51 to 102 months behind bars on one count each of burglary, simple assault and terroristic threats, according to court papers. Judge Michael T. Vough credited the man for 285 days served.Court documents indicate a jury in June found Jones guilty of the burglary and assault charges. He pleaded guilty around the same time to the terroristic threats charge.According to a criminal complaint, Jones on Aug. 17, 2014, broke into his ex-girlfriend&#8217;s residence while she and several others were home and threatened her brother with a knife.A separate complaint says police were transporting Jones to an arraignment on Oct. 15 when he told police he was going to kill his ex-girlfriend. He allegedly told police to &#8220;wait until he gets out of jail, he is &#8216;going to catch a body&#8217;&#8221; and then flee the state.Jones also told the police transporting him he knew the faces of the four officers involved in his arrest, and knows what cars they drive, the complaint says. He said police &#8220;will never see him coming,&#8221; and said he would wait until the officers were &#8220;giving some old lady directions&#8221; before killing them, the complaint says.He also stated he would kill the next police officer who approached him.As police were processing him, Jones allegedly said, &#8220;I always wanted to get a body in city hall.
