Luzerne County Residents Among Twenty-Four Students Awarded The Next Mile Educational ScholarshipsMileOne Automotive Group, one of the country&#8217;s largest full-service automotive groups with 76 dealerships in the Mid-Atlantic region, has announced two students from Luzerne County are among the 24 who were selected as new recipients of The Next Mile program that provides $2,500 toward enrollment in a university, college and/or trade school.Owen Kiluk of Trucksville and Linda Murphy of Plains Township are recipients and will attend Temple University and Misericordia University, respectively.MileOne founded The Next Mile program in 2014 as a way to support its employees and their families as they pursue their educational goals. Since its inception, The Next Mile program has granted 57 students scholarships valued at more than $140,000.
