Family Service Association to celebrate 120th anniversary

<p>Alice Keiner, secretary and chapter chairman for Veterans for Shawnee Fort Chapter DAR, has been awarded a special citation from Senator John Yudichak for her volunteer work at the Wilkes-Barre VA hospital. Keiner was appointed to the local VAVS committee in September 2013. Shawnee Fort Chapter is based in Plymouth. An upcoming event is a patriot grave marking for Judge Jesse Fell and Jonathan Slocum in conjunction with the Hollenback Cemetery Association on Oct. 24.
