Rain keeps the Wyoming Valley soggy this weekend

HAZLETON &#8212; City police responded to a report of a cell phone robbery near the intersection of 2nd Street and Peace Street around 5:24 p.m. Wednesday.The 15-year-old male victim claimed a dark skinned male approached him on a bicycle with no seat, holding a closed pocket knife, and proceeded to take his cell phone before riding away, traveling west on 2nd Street.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hazleton City Police Department at 570-459-4940.
