HANOVER TWP. &#8212; Police have identified four people injured in a crash Wednesday evening on Sans Souci Parkway but are keeping their medical conditions closely guarded.Township police said Tammy Yakima, of Nanticoke, was driving northbound when her car abruptly turned left into the southbound lane and collided with another car driven by Gary Weaver, of Hunlock Creek. Police said Yakima and one of her backseat passengers, a 9-year-old girl, weren&#8217;t wearing their seatbelts and sustained major injuries. Yakima&#8217;s other backseat passenger, a 5-year-old boy, was belted into a car seat at the time of the crash but still sustained injuries.Yakima and the boy were transported to an unspecified hospital for treatment while the girl was life-flighted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Police said Weaver, who was wearing his seatbelt, sustained moderate injuries and was also transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.A dog in the front seat of Yakima&#8217;s car also sustained major injuries and was taken to Plains Animal Hospital for treatment. Police said the current medical condition of the victims was unavailable Thursday afternoon and that the crash is still under investigation.
