<p>PLAINS TWP. &#8212; If you&#8217;re looking to purchase a pallet of stuff, BidOnFusion is the place for you to be on Saturday.</p><p>John Evans is the chief operating officer of the company that is transforming the rear section of the former Sunshine Market on Route 315 into an auction house.</p><p>This is BidOnFusion&#8217;s first operation in Pennsylvania, Evans said. The other locations are in Phoenix, Arizona, Greenville, South Carolina and Indianapolis, Indiana.</p><p>According to its website, BidOnFusion is an auction marketplace for brand-name wholesale merchandise from leading retailers and manufacturers. Their liquidation stock is available in a comprehensive range of product categories and lot sizes.</p><p>Evans said BidOnFusion has clients from Pennsylvania and surrounding states, prompting the company to look for a site in the Keystone State.</p><p>&#8220;We found the Wilkes-Barre area to be a very business friendly community,&#8221; Evans said. &#8220;Everybody was very receptive.</p><p>The first local event is set for 10 a.m. Saturday. Evans said about 200 pallets of merchandise will be up for bid. He said for future auctions, bidders can expect 350 to 400 pallets weekly. Bidders can inspect the pallets beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Evans said.</p><p>The live auction will include people present at the site and others bidding from home through an online connection.</p><p>The first auction will feature pallets of products received from Sam&#8217;s Club and Walmart, Evans said, adding that bidders can be eBay, Amazon or Craigslist users, dollar store shoppers or flea market vendors and the general public.</p><p>Auction personnel will take your pallet out to your vehicle where you will load it into your SUV, truck or other vehicle. Evans said all purchases are &#8220;as is,&#8221; and all sales are final.</p><p>&#8220;Yes, sometimes we get complaints, but our regular customers know that when they buy a pallet, there may be an issue with an item, but the total amount of merchandise is good,&#8221; Evans said.</p><p>Bid prices for pallets usually amount to about 5 to 15 percent of retail value, he said.</p><p>For this auction, we have some outstanding goods and products,&#8221; Evans said. &#8220;Most of the items are customer returns from Sam&#8217;s Club and Walmart.&#8221;</p><p>Evans said each pallet contains a variety of themed items, such as furniture, tools, toys, grilling items, kitchenware, camping gear, office equipment and electronics.</p><p>Evans said bidding depends on the number of people that show up and the popularity of the items.</p><p>&#8220;I encourage people to come out early and check out the pallets,&#8221; Evans said. &#8220;At our other locations, we usually get big crowds.&#8221;</p><p>Each pallet will have an estimated value of the items posted to give bidders an idea of the value of each. He said bidding can start as low as $10. He said there is no ceiling to how high the bidding can go.</p><p>&#8220;We also encourage feedback from the bidders,&#8221; Evans said. &#8220;We want to know what items they would like to see made available at future auctions.</p><p>Evans said BidOnFusion will conduct weekly Saturday auctions, but could expand to a second day down the road.</p><style>
