<p>HARRISBURG &#8212; State Rep. Karen Boback, R-Harveys Lake, announced this week November hours for outreach programs that include bereavement counseling, medical referrals, assistance in applying for Veterans Affairs benefits, employment counseling, guidance and referrals, and alcohol and drug assessments.</p><p>&#8220;I hope many local residents can take advantage of our outreach hours,&#8221; Boback said in a news release. &#8220;This is a good opportunity to get help with difficult issues at convenient locations.&#8221;</p><p>&#8226; A representative of the American Legion will be at the Tunkhannock district office at 608 Hunter Hwy., Suite 110, on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon.</p><p>&#8226; Patrick Rogan, a caseworker for U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta, R-Hazleton, will be at the Dallas district office, 1108 Twin Stacks Dr., Friday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon.</p><p>&#8226; An outreach specialist from the Center for Independent Living will be at the Tunkhannock district office on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon.</p><p>There will be no Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) hours held this month.</p><style>
