<p>There will be a &#8216;Downtown Hoedown for Hope&#8217; from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, in downtown Scranton at the Backyard Ale House, 523 Linden Street, to benefit Marley&#8217;s Mission, a non-profit organization that provides equine-based therapy free of charge to children, and their families, who have experienced trauma. There will be a three-hour open bar, hors d&#8217; hoeuvres, entertainment by local country music sensation Dani-elle, along with silent auction items, raffle items, a gift certificate tree, and 50/50 chances. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased by e-mailing hoedown@marleymission.com, or call 570-587-HOPE. Checks for tickets can be mailed to: Marley&#8217;s Mission, P.O. Box 505, Scranton, PA 18505.
