<p>KINGSTON &#8212; Police say a man was stabbed during a robbery Wednesday in Kirby Park.</p><p>The victim, a 23-year-old black man, told police he was walking through the park around 6 p.m. when he was approached by two males asking for money. The victim refused, but reached for his wallet anyway.</p><p>Police said that during the incident, the victim dropped his wallet and attempted to pick it up when he was stabbed in the right thigh by one of the suspects. The victim fell to the ground while one suspect grabbed his wallet and both fled in an unknown direction.</p><p>The victim was able to walk to a residence in Kingston and called 911. The victim&#8217;s injury was not believed to be life threatening, police said.</p><p>Officers searched the area for suspects with no success. One suspect was described as a black man, 5 feet, 11 inches tall with medium build. He was wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The other suspect was described as a white man, also 5-foot-11, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.</p><p>Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact the Wilkes-Barre Police Department at 570-208-4200, or dial 911.</p><style>
