Hold on to your hats — a windy day is in store for the Wyoming Valley Friday

<p>Wyoming Valley commuters heading off to work and school Friday morning will encounter moderate to heavy traffic on Route 11 from Pittston to West Nanticoke in both directions.</p><p>Interstate Route 81 is showing moderate traffic around on and off ramps. Drivers will experience heavy traffic around southbound Exit 175.</p><p>Route 115 traffic is moderate.</p><p>In the Back Mountain, moderate traffic is reported at the intersection of Carverton Road and Route 309.</p><p>In Wilkes-Barre City, North River North Washington, Kidder and North Main streets, plus Wilkes-Barre Boulevard are reporting heavy traffic flowing in both directions.</p><p>For more traffic information, visit the Times Leader <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/traffic" target="_blank">traffic page.</a></p><style>
