Woman forced to forfeit big jackpot at Mount Airy Casino

The Quality Hill Playground Association, of Nanticoke, held its annual &#8220;Picnic in the Park&#8221; fundraising event in late August.The picnic, held at the playground, began at 3 p.m. with traditional homemade picnic food, live music by &#8220;Rhythm and Booze&#8221; and &#8220;40 lb Head&#8221; and games for all ages. It ended with a fantastic fireworks display.The association&#8217;s officers recognize and thank all those who went above and beyond in helping us put together the popular event this year. It has become the park&#8217;s biggest fundraiser and has provided the association with the means to upgrade the park&#8217;s equipment and infrastructure to sustain the playground&#8217;s existence in the Nanticoke community.The association extends a big thank-you to the following contributors:Mike Tomko and Bigg Daddy&#8217;s Fireworks, May&#8217;s Septic Service, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Weis Markets, Sam&#8217;s Club, Wegmans Food Markets, Maureen&#8217;s Cones &amp; More, The Buckleys at &#8220;Hair It Is,&#8221; state Rep.
