<p>NANTICOKE &#8212; The preliminary hearing for a man accused of injuring three police officers during an armed standoff in November was continued Wednesday.</p><p>Daniel Dosette, 38, appeared before Magisterial District Judge Donald Whittaker for the preliminary hearing. Court documents indicate the next hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 26 before Whittaker.</p><p>Police were dispatched to a Park Street residence at about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 21 for a report of a male waving a hand gun around inside the house and threatening to shoot his girlfriend. The caller identified Dosette as the person making the threats, police said. Police said Dosette was upset with his girlfriend because she wanted to go to New York with their son.</p><p>Police negotiated with Dosette through an open second-floor window, but Dosette refused to leave the residence. Police said Dosette appeared to be suffering from &#8220;an altered mental status&#8221; at the time of the incident.</p><p>Negotiations ended when Dosette used a cell phone to call someone and allegedly ask that person to bring a group of people with weapons to help him. Other officers arrived and police used a Taser to subdue Dosette. As a result of the struggle, three police officers sustained injuries.</p><p>Dosette is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, two counts each of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person and one count each of resisting arrest and terroristic threats.</p><p>Dosette remains jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $75,000 bail.</p><style>
