Preliminary hearing continued for woman who allegedly resisted arrest

<p>Members of Wilkes University&#8217;s chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the national English honor society, gathered 2,033 books to donate to Ruth&#8217;s Place House of Hope, Inc. and St. Hedwig&#8217;s Veterans Village in a book drive. Major contributors included Wilkes-Barre City Hall, the Weatherly Library, the Whitehall Public Library and the Kirby Library in Mountain Top.
